Styrian GP - Practice Roundup
Here's how practice went in Red Bull Ring, at the first of the two weekends F1 will be racing in Austria, the Styrian GP.

FP1:
Max Verstappen topped the first practice session of the weekend, clocking the benchmark time of 1:05.910 around Red Bull Ring, followed by Pierre Gasly in P2 and Lewis Hamilton in P3.
Valtteri Bottas finished in P4, just 0.054 behind his Mercedes team mate. A very strong session for AlphaTauri, as Yuki Tsunoda climbed up to P5, followed by the two Alpine drivers, Fernando Alonso in P6 and Esteban Ocon in P7. Completing the top 10, Lance Stroll in P8, followed by Antonio Giovinazzi in P9 and Charles Leclerc in P10.
Subbing in for Kimi Raikkonen at Alfa Romeo, Robert Kubica did his FP1 appearance for this weekend, finishing in P19, just ahead of Nikita Mazepin in P20.
Full FP1 Classification:

FP2:
Once again, Max Verstappen climbed up to P1, setting an early 1:05.412 benchmark only halfway into the session, followed by Daniel Ricciardo in P2 and Esteban Ocon in P3.
Lewis Hamilton finished in P4, while his team mate, Valtteri Bottas managed to place his Mercedes in P12, and received a 3-place grid penalty for spinning in the pit lane.
Another very positive performance from Alpine in this session, as Fernando Alonso climbed up to P5, just a tenth behind Lewis Hamilton, followed by Sebastian Vettel in P6 and Lance Stroll in P8, splitted by Lando Norris in P7. Completing the top 10, Sergio Perez in P9 and Antonio Giovinazzi in P10.
Pierre Gasly didn’t take part in the session, as Honda had detected an issue with his power unit. He said it was a “big shame” that he missed out on the chance to build on his strong result in first practice (P2).

FP3:
Lewis Hamilton took P1 at the last practice session of the Styrian GP weekend, clocking a 1:04.369, leaving Max Verstappen in P2, just 0.204 behind, followed by Valtteri Bottas in P3.
Sergio Perez climbed up to P4, 0.657s adrift of Lewis Hamilton, followed by Yuki Tsunoda in P5 and Pierre Gasly, who took P6, with a new MGU-K and gearbox, for which he won’t receive any penalties.
Completing the top 10, Charles Leclerc in P7 and Fernando Alonso in P8, followed by the two Aston Martin drivers, Lance Stroll in P9 and Sebastian Vettel in P10.
