A very quiet session with no major incidents, apart for a few spins and exits. Similar conditions to FP1, with a few more clouds and some spots of rain towards the end, as reported by the marshalls.
Max Verstappen topped the session, followed by the two Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton in P2 and Valtteri Bottas in P3. Sergio Perez managed to place his Red Bull in P4, 0.351 seconds behind his team mate. Another very positive session for Alpine's Esteban Ocon in P5, as well as for Ferarri, with Charles Leclerc in P6 and Carlos Sainz in P7. Lando Norris in P8, followed by Pierre Gasly in P9 and Kimi Raikkonen in P10, completing the Top 10.
Outside the Top 10, Mick Schumacher managed to set a 1:20.033, placing his Haas in P15, a really good and promising performance by the German driver.
