McLaren reveal a special livery for Asian races

This morning McLaren revealed a special livery for the Asian fly away races in Singapore and Japan.

McLaren are never one to shy away from special liveries and for the fly away races in Singapore and Japan the team have gone bold. The car for this weekends Singapore Grand Prix will feature a neon pink trim on the cars in celebration of teams partnership with OKX.


The livery will also be seen the weekend after as F1 return to Suzuka for the first time since 2019. McLaren have named called the livery "Future Mode" and have taken inspiration from videogame Cyber Punk and have included details on its engine cover and sidepod.


The design is also meant to represent the emergence of new technologies in Asia and looks to the future of the regions of Singapore and Japan. The design is also meant to be inspired by the cityscapes of both Singapore and Japan.


The livery will also be available on the F1 2022 game from October 11th where players will be able to show off this beautiful livery.
