Italian GP 2022 - FP2: Sainz on top, Verstappen and Leclerc follow

Carlos Sainz finished Friday on top, followed by Max Verstappen in P2 and Charles Leclerc in P3.


With 30 minutes to go, Mick Schumacher stopped his Haas at the side of the track, reporting some loss of power, triggering a red flag, which lasted about 15 minutes.


Carlos Sainz topped the timesheets to finish Friday on top, followed by Max Verstappen in P2 and Charles Leclerc in P3.

It was a 1-3 for Ferrari in Monza, as Carlos Sainz lead the pack, ahead of Max Verstappen in P2 and Charles Leclerc in P3.

P4 for n. 4, as Lando Norris finished in fourth place, followed by George Russell in P5 and Sergio Perez in P6.

Lewis Hamilton managed to place his Mercedes in P7, finishing ahead of the Alpine pair, with Esteban Ocon leading Fernando Alonso, to take on P8 and P9, respectively. Alexander Albon in P10, completed the top 10, showing some decent pace ahead of Saturday's Quali at the Italian Grand Prix.
