Hungarian GP 2022 - FP3: An unbelievable Williams 1-3 in the rain

The last practice session of the weekend is done and dusted, with Nicholas Latifi finishing on top in the rain, topping an F1 session for the first ever time in his career. Charles Leclerc finished in P2, with Latifi's teammate, Alex Albon in P3.

Heavy rain hit the track a while before the session started, so all drivers started their first runs using full wets. Track conditions improved massively towards the end, with many drivers switching to intermediates.

Williams' Nicholas Latifi topped an F1 session for the first time in his career, putting in an incredible lap at the end of FP3. Right behind him, Charles Leclerc, who dominated most if the session, and the second Williams driver, Alex Albon in P3.

A very unpredictable session indeed, with the top 10 being very mixed up, as Max Verstappen finished in P4, with George Russell in P5 and Fernando Alonso in P6. Carlos Sainz was far off his teammate to only finish in P7, followed by his former teammate, Lando Norris, in P8.

Sebastian Vettel placed his Aston Martin in P9, despite the late-session crash he had, with 9 minutes left on the clock. The 4x World Champion lost the rear of his car, to end up in the barriers at T10. The session was red flagged and resumed after 6 minutes.

Completing the top 10, it's Kevin Magnussen, who, mind you, is using the upgraded Haas, or "White Ferrari", as many call it, this weekend.
