French GP - Qualifying: Max Verstappen takes 5th pole position of his career.
Max Verstappen took his second pole position of the 2021 season in Le Castellet, followed by Lewis Hamilton in P2 and Valtteri Bottas in P3.

Sergio Perez managed to climb up to P4, followed by the two Ferraris, Carlos Sainz in P5 and Charles Leclerc in P7, splitted by Pierre Gasly in P6. Completing the Top 10, Lando Norris in P8, Fernando Alonso in P9 and Daniel Ricciardo in P10.
Eliminated in Q2: Esteban Ocon (P11), Sebastian Vettel (P12), Antonio Giovinazzi (P13), George (P14) and Mick Schumacher (P15), who spun and crashed in Q1, so he didn't get to make a lap time in Q2.

Eliminated in Q1: Nicholas Latifi (P16), Kimi Raikkonen (P17), Nikita Mazepin (P18), Lance Stroll (P19), who didn't manage to set a lap time due to Schumacher's incident, and Yuki Tsunoda (P20) who spun during the first 15 minutes of the session. He slid backwards into the wall and couldn't get the car started, forcing a Red Flag. The session was resumed a couple minutes later.
