BREAKING: Williams confirm Alex Albon for 2023 and beyond
It was just announced by Williams that Alex Albon will be staying with the British team for 2023, as he signs a new multi-year contract.

Williams have announced that Alex Albon will be driving for them in 2023, signing a multi-year contract, extending his stay at Grove.
Alex Albon said: "I am really excited to be staying with Williams Racing for 2023 and look forward to seeing what we can achieve as a team in the remainder of this season and next year.
"The team has made some strong gains this year and it’s exciting to continue this journey and further develop our learnings together."
Team Principal and CEO, Jost Capito, said: "Alex is a tremendous driver and valued member of Williams Racing, so we’re thrilled to be able to confirm we will be working with him on a long-term basis.
"Alex brings a great blend of skill and insightful learnings that will help bring the team greater success in the future.
"He’s a fierce competitor, has proved a popular and loyal team member and we are delighted that he will provide a stable base for us to continue to develop in this new F1 car era."
It is still unclear, who will partner Albon at Williams after the end of 2022, with Nicholas Latifi rumoured to being replaced for 2023. Oscar Piastri was initially the most possible option, but that's looking to be very unlike, after the recent news regarding Fernando Alonso's move to Aston Martin, as well as Alpine's announcement that Piastri will drive for the French team next year, with him denying it.
