Austrian GP 2022 - FP2: 1-2 for Ferrari ahead of Sprint, Verstappen follows
Carlos Sainz finished at the top of the timesheets at the last practice session of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend, just ahead of today's Sprint, followed by Charles Leclerc in P2 and Max Verstappen in P3.

Carlos Sainz placed his Ferrari at the top of the timesheets, followed by teammate Charles Leclerc in P2 and Max Verstappen in P3. While both Ferraris completed their fastest laps on the soft compound, and Verstappen on the medium tyre, it is unknown, how much fuel each team used for this session, so we can't say for sure that the order is representative of the actual pace.
The two Alpines follow right after, with Fernando Alonso in P4, ahead of Esteban Ocon in P5, followed by Sergio Perez in P6.
Friday saw both Mercedes drivers crashing out in Qualifying, with Lewis Hamilton damaging the car more, while George Russell not as much. Mercedes had to change the servival cell on Hamilton's car, and repairs took a little bit longer than expected, with the Brit coming out on track for the first time today, with 14 minutes left on the clock.
George Russell finished in P7, with Lewis Hamilton in P9, splitted by Valtteri Bottas in P8. Rounding up the top 10, Lando Norris in P10.
