Kyalami Circuit is located in Midrand, South Africa. The circuit has a long and storied history, and has played host to some of the most exciting and memorable races in the world of motorsport.

The circuit was first opened in 1961, and quickly became one of the most popular and prestigious venues in South Africa. Over the years, Kyalami Circuit has hosted a wide range of international events, including the South African Grand Prix, which was part of the Formula One World Championship from 1967 to 1985.

Some of the greatest drivers in motorsport history have competed at Kyalami Circuit, including Jackie Stewart, Jim Clark, Niki Lauda, and Alain Prost. The circuit was also the site of some of the most dramatic moments in motorsport history as well as hosting endurance races in many GT series.

In addition to Formula One races, Kyalami Circuit has also hosted a wide range of other motorsport events over the years, including races for sports cars, touring cars, and motorcycles. The circuit has undergone significant renovations and upgrades over the years, but has remained true to its historic character and continues to be a popular venue for motorsport events today.

The track has tried countless times to try and get back on the formula 1 calendar. It was reveiled in 2023 that the circuit is consistently looking to make a comeback to the f1 world championship but no successful bid has come of light just yet.
